Purple Mainspring is a venture studio in The Woodlands, Texas, forming as a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation. It builds and operates a portfolio of consumer ventures, and an enterprise AI platform, on its own systems. Purple is the color of lupus awareness. The studio's name, and its charitable commitment, come from the founder's own experience with the disease. Five percent of net profits are pledged to the Lupus Research Alliance every year, a commitment published in the company charter and set to be written into the certificate of incorporation at filing.
